On the 14th day, he destroyed over four hundred chariots but was finally slain by Ghatotkacha in an epic battle of illusions.

When Parvati asked Shiva why she died repeatedly while he remained immortal, Shiva agreed to reveal the Amar Katha in complete privacy. He left his mount Nandi at Pahalgam, the moon at Chandanwari, snakes at Sheshnag Lake. When Lord Vamana asked for three steps of land, Bali agreed despite his guru's warning. Vamana covered heaven and earth in two steps. Bali offered his head for the third, and Vishnu granted him rulership of Sutala and promised to be his doorkeeper.

Testing the gods, Sage Bhrigu kicked sleeping Vishnus chest where Lakshmi dwelt. Vishnu apologized, proving his humility, but Lakshmi was furious her sacred dwelling was violated. She left Vaikuntha, later reborn as Padmavati at Tirupati.

Bhakti Devi (personified Devotion) travels with her aged sons Jnana (Knowledge) and Vairagya (Detachment). Upon reaching Gokula, devotion becomes young again, teaching that knowledge and detachment are renewed and rejuvenated through pure devotion to the divine.

Demon Bhasmasura gains boon to turn anyone to ash by touching their head. He tries to use it on Shiva. Vishnu as Mohini tricks him into touching his own head. Evil destroys itself.

Bhai Lehna proved his devotion through humility - picking up a muddy jug others refused, following the Guru even when beaten. Guru Nanak chose him over his own sons, declaring he is my very limb (Ang). True devotion surpasses blood.

Bhrigu asks his father Varuna to teach him Brahman. Through repeated meditation, Bhrigu progressively discovers five sheaths: Food, Life Force, Mind, Intellect, and finally Bliss. Each time he thinks he found Brahman, Varuna sends him back until he realizes Ananda (Bliss) as ultimate reality.

A donkey and jackal raid farms at night. After feasting, the donkey wants to sing despite the jackals warnings. His loud braying wakes farmers who beat him severely. There is a time and place for everything.

When kusha grass hurt Chanakya, instead of tearing at it, he poured sugar to attract ants who destroyed it from roots. Direct force isnt always effective - understanding problems allows creative indirect solutions.

When the Muslim magistrate Chand Kazi banned kirtan and broke mridanga drums, Chaitanya organized the first nonviolent civil disobedience movement with 100,000 devotees carrying torches. After philosophical discussion, the Kazi became a devotee and promised his dynasty would never obstruct sankirtana.

King Citraketu had ten million wives but no son until sage Angira blessed him. When jealous co-wives poisoned the child, Narada showed Citraketu his dead son's soul teaching about the eternal nature of the spirit and illusory material relationships.

Guru Arjan Dev compiled the Adi Granth to preserve authentic hymns. He personally visited Mohan at Goindwal, composing three beautiful stanzas to convince him to surrender manuscripts of the first three Gurus. With Bhai Gurdas as scribe, the work was completed on August 30, 1604, and installed in Harmandir Sahib.

Mata Khivi, wife of Guru Angad Dev, devoted her life to serving pilgrims through the community kitchen (langar). She is the only wife of a Guru mentioned by name in the Guru Granth Sahib, praised for providing comfort to pilgrims like a tree with leafy shade.

Drumasena was among the warriors who surrounded and killed Abhimanyu in the Chakravyuha when he was trapped without weapons. He crushed Abhimanyus skull with a mace, though Abhimanyu managed to kill him before dying. Dushasanas sons were later slain by the Upapandavas in revenge.
